Ingredients
Bottom Layer
- 1 cup flour
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1 stick butter
Top Layer
- 3 eggs
- 1.5 cups(?) brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1.5 cups chopped mixed nuts
Glaze
- 1.5 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp(?) fresh lemon juice
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Butter a 9x12" pan.
- Blend ingredients for bottom layer and press in pan.
- Bake at 350F for 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, beat 3 eggs.
- Blend in brown sugar, baking powder, and vanilla.
- Mix in nuts.
- Pour over bottom layer(?) and bake at 350F for 25 minutes.
- Cool in pan.(?)
- Blend glaze ingredients until smooth.(?)
- Pour glaze over top layer and let set.(?)
Notes
This is my mom's Aunt Vernal's recipe. She wrote it down for me but skipped a few steps and measurements so I'm adding what I think they should be, though I should probably test it.... Sara 05:38, 10 January 2013 (UTC)
