Spätzle

Ingredients

  • 375g Flour
  • 2 Eggs
  • Salt
  • 1 cup Water (If large eggs are used then use a little less water)
  • 1 Tbsp Oil

Directions

  1. Put a pot of salted water on to boil.
  2. Mix the flour and salt together.
  3. Blend in the eggs and water slowly (use your blender), until the dough is smooth.
  4. Continue to blend the dough until it has enlarged in size and is nice and stretchy.
  5. When the water boils, add the oil to the pot.
  6. Put batches of your dough in the hopper of the spätzle grater and grate the noodles into the boiling water.
  7. When the noodles float, lift them out of the water with a slotted spoon and keep them warm while you cook the rest.
