Cake

Cream well:

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Add:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 cup milk

Spread on a greased cookie sheet or 13x9x2" pan.

Mix:

  • 1 can Solo poppy seed cake filling
  • 2 Tablespoons milk (to make it spreadable)

Spread carefully on above dough.

Streusel

Mix together:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Crumble streusel on top of cake poppy seed layer.

Bake at 350° F for 30-45 minutes.
