Butter Crumshus Cake

Ingredients

  • 1/4 Cup butter
  • 1/2 Cup flour
  • 1/2 Cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 Cup nuts
  • 2 Cup flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 Cup butter
  • 1 Cup (8 oz) cream cheese
  • 1 1/4 Cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 Cup milk

Directions

  1. Cut butter into pieces and mix together the butter, flour and the brown sugar. Add the nuts to the mixture (Crumb mixture).
  2. Sift the flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
  3. Cream the butter and cream cheese. Then add the sugar. Blend in the eggs and the vanilla.
  4. Add the dry ingredients alternately with the milk.
  5. Turn into 13x9x2 pan, greased on bottom.
  6. Sprinkle with crumb mixture .
  7. Bake at 350 °F for 30-40 minutes.
